I’m currently in the process of moving and redesigning my website - which was not on my bingo card at the moment, and for a non-tech person like myself could take a while - so for the time being my events listing will be housed here on my Substack. I’ll update this page as new events are available so check back often or be sure to follow me on Facebook or Instagram.

Cozy Quiet Write at the Library
5:30 pm - 6: 30 pm
free
I’m bringing back an hour of writing prompts during the monthly Cozy Quiet Hour at the East Rochester Library, the second Monday of each month from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
If you’ve joined me in person pre-Covid, online, or at the studio for Recharge Your Creativity, this will be familiar:
I set up prompts, with a timer for 10 to 15 mins.
You respond however you want - words, drawing, etc.
You can use the timer, wander from prompt to prompt on your own, or stay at one prompt the entire time.
There’ll be a brief - optional - time at the end for sharing.
The goal is to give you a designated time and prompt for creative or personal reflection or inspiration. You do whatever you want with what comes up.
While that’s happening, you can also just pop in to the library to unplug, relax, and connect in the quietest place in the Village. Enjoy reading, puzzles, board games, creative activities, explore the library resources, meet friends to sit and knit, or just spend time “alone” with others. (Just a note that Beau usually comes with me to this library event.)
East Rochester Public Library
317 Main Street
East Rochester, New York 14445
Lots of free parking in the village lot or on the street
(note: this is inside the village building, so go in the double doors and the library is right there)

Wednesday, July 22
Creative Play at the free East Rochester Village Concert
Municipal Lot adjacent to the Eyer Building
317 Main Street.
All concerts begin at 7:00 pm.
I’ll be at the library table with a collaborative creative activity during July’s free concert. It’s also the night of the chicken barbecue that kicks off the Firemen’s Field Days on the 23rd, so lots to enjoy in our little village community. Come play, eat, listen to music. (Weather permitting so be sure to check the library social media or my FB page if the skies look questionable.)

In addition to the Cozy Quiet Nights, I’ll be at the East Rochester twice a month with arts and creative programming so stay tuned for specific workshop info. Writing, improv, art projects - we’re going to spend time playing together among the stacks. I also host occasional creative get-togethers in my studio. Make sure you subscribe to this blog to get all the info.
