I wondered how that would impact the president. After all, there are very few people Trump actually listens to—one being Melania. Anthony believes that Trump has actually become more emboldened with the first lady no longer “reining him in.” When she was more “friendly” with him, she’d tell him to “tone it down, and he would actually listen to her,” he says.
