Who knew that NASA, Cardinal Pizzaballa, and I had so much in common?
I thought Wednesday of Holy Week (Spy Wednesday, if you like cool niche Catholic terms) would be a hard day to launch a book, but if it’s good enough for Cardinal Pizzaballa, it’s good enough for me, too.
Seriously, friends: thank you so much. I know I’ve been filling your inboxes over the last week, and I promise to stop pestering you now. (Well, after I announce the contest next week for those who are willing to leave me some Amazon reviews… stay tuned!)
But thank you, thank you, thank you. We sold Amazon out today.
And while I might not be the #1 new release in Christian Preaching (Cardinal Pizzaballa has that honor), I was simply excited to have this pop up when I was looking at another page on Amazon today:
While I may be waiting to truly celebrate until after Easter, my heart is very fully tonight.
Thank you!
(And don’t worry - you can still order from Scepter or Amazon. Scepter has books ready to ship and Amazon will be shipping as soon as they get their act together and order more books!)
For those of you in the South Bend area, I’ll be having a launch party where I wrote a large chunk of the book, so reach out if you want to join me!
Have a blessed Triduum, a happy Easter, and … once again, thank you.
Thanks for reading Joan in Ordinary Time! This post is public so feel free to share it.
