I’m excited to share that the Steppe Saga now has new covers! While I loved my original cover for Of Wind and Wolves, with the upcoming release of The Gifts of Heaven (now available for preorder!), I wanted covers that truly captured the trilogy’s spirit, coordinated well together, and evoked a classic historical fiction vibe. No pressure!
My designer, Richard Ljoenes, really came through, and I think these covers . . . cover all the bases. I couldn’t be happier with them. I hope you like them, too. They are currently only available as eBooks, but print editions are coming soon. I rushed the digital release because of some other exciting news:
Of Wind and Wolves will be featured in a BookBub deal on Monday, August 10! If you haven’t read it yet but are curious, now’s a great time, because it will be free August 10–17. Grab your copy, and please consider leaving a rating/review on Amazon and Goodreads.
In addition to the new cover, the book also has a redesigned ePub (so if you have the old version and want an update, it’s free!). I originally made it in InDesign, which worked fine on most devices, but InDesign isn’t the best for creating reflowable files. I’m much happier with this new, refreshed version.
