Over Breakfast - Page 5: Dil's origins

Dil reveals a bit of backstory, but Ine's not quite ready to believe it.

All aboard the exposition train. First stop, India! (Gonna be a long trip.)

Ine and Dil walk back into their room. Dil gestures with his paw and says, "Look, I'm serious! I really am from India!" Ine responds, "Alright, alright! It's just... you don't have much of an accent or anything."

Dil smiles and sits down, fanning his tail feathers behind his head, and says, "O, you mean becos I don't tok like dis, eat curry, and play crikit ol dey?" Ine rolls his eyes, looking amused, and says, "Yeah, something like that."

Then Ine asks, "So if you're really from India, how'd you end up here?" Dil looks taken aback.

Then looking self-conscious and rubbing his arm, he says, "Oh. Well, that's a bit of a story... Though I've told Chris already, so I guess you can hear it too if you've got nothing better to do." Looking surprised, Ine says, "Uh, sure. I don't mind."
