BEND, Ore. - Kade Anderson will make his long anticipated major league debut tomorrow in a nationally televised game on FOX against the Cubs at T-Mobile Park.
You know about that already. You also know that he was sensational against Double-A competition, just like he was against collegiate batters at LSU. It’s why the Mariners picked him No. 3 overall in the 2025 draft.
You also know why he’s being summoned by the Mariners. Their rotation needs help. So does their entire team as it becomes closer and closer to being exposed as a fraudulent playoff contender.
But what you don’t know and I don’t know - how will the Mariners handle Anderson’s arrival?
We’ll find out this afternoon when team president Jerry Dipoto will no doubt hold a dugout meeting with reporters to tell them what will happen with the Mariners’ rotation.
