Tomorrow is the Sunday strip! Today, however, is the unofficial behind-the-scenes day.
As the story got further along, all of the panels turned into squares, and the line between one comic and the next got a little fuzzy. Above is more or less how the series originally looked (plus a somewhat aspirational header), and below is what it looked like on my iPad. There’s a quality of the lettering that I like a lot that the modern stuff doesn't have, but I guess that’s another story.
Along those lines, I’m putting things together in Affinity Publisher to mock up that Scholastic-formatted version. What’s my target demographic? I have no idea!
Also: I merged the Quake textures I made in… a long time ago with the Canary sprites and started building a Wizardry-like thing. Interested? [Y/N]
