I’m excited to be returning in 2028 to Untamed Angling’s Tsimane Pluma Lodge—an exclusive program in the Bolivian Amazon, designed to target trophy golden dorado.

There are two wonderful programs available this week:

Hybrid Program (3 days Heli, 3 days Classic Experience): $16,250 USD
Heli-Fishing: $19,750 USD

Guests will have the opportunity to fish for large dorado, pacu, yatorana, and even moturo and surubi, in incomparable quantity and quality. The rivers and tributaries where we will fish every day are wild, untouched waters seldom seen by human beings.

I was just at Tsimane hosting a group of wonderful anglers, and most of them have already rebooked to return in 2028. I’m looking for a few more good anglers to join us and come along for this week of adventure and awesome fishing in the jungle.

I first visited this program in October 2023, and quickly fell in love with the fishery, the lodge, and the program itself. For heli anglers, the ability to have two comfortable Robinson R44 RAVEN II helicopters take us to and from remote, wild rivers every day changes the game. I was happy to return in late June this year, and both myself and the clients enjoyed it so much that everyone’s eager to get back.

The heli-fishing week is premium program—and a premium experience to go with it. Anglers should come prepared with a good level of physical fitness, and ready for some of the best fishing of their lives. Contact me with fishing, logistics, and travel questions. For those looking at the Hybrid Experience, this is still a wonderful way to experience the jungle. You’ll go out with a pro guide (English-speaking) and a native guide who knows the jungle well in a boat for three days, and then heli-fish for three days. There’s still a good opportunity to catch all the species listed above, and we’ll all hang together at the lodge.
