This past week has been really, really difficult. I had scans on Monday morning and got the results that afternoon. We were able to meet with my oncologist on Tuesday afternoon to go over everything and sadly things are not looking good.
The video explains everything and I hope you give it a watch. I wish I was sharing different news.
The next several months are going to be hard and I’m so grateful to have this community that continues to support me. I’ll do my best to keep you all posted with this process as I/we experience it but please don’t hesitate to reach out. I might not always respond but I will gladly accept any memes/videos that will make me laugh or that contain lots of puppy/kitten bellies.
We’re going to try to get some traveling in while I still can. For my local friends, we will be in Ohio for all of May but then we’ll try to hit the road come June. For my East Coast friends, we’re trying to plan a visit in mid-June that ideally will include at least one night in Brooklyn. Will keep you all posted.
