Oakland feels like what Brooklyn could have been if it hadn’t become part nyc. There is a reason they call this place The Town, as opposed to SF being The City. Yeah, the bigger buildings are in SF, the money is in SF, but what’s driving the culture, the arts, the food, is all coming from across the bay. Don’t try and little brother this city! Ill be honest, I didn’t know much, and I'm going to assume you might not know much either, and I think like myself, you are going to be pleasantly surprised by all the fun and food I had in my 72 hours in the east bay, eating some diverse food I’ve had anywhere!
