I’m so inspired by the people of the city of Monterey Park (a San Gabriel Valley suburb in Los Angeles County - just east of downtown Los Angeles) and their fight against AI Data Centers being located in their city. TIKTOK VID. Especially because Monterey Park is one of the few majority Asian American municipalities in the country and the Asian Americans are ACTIVATED. I believe that opposing AI Data Centers is a UNIFYING fight that intersects so many critical issues - environmental justice, simple quality of life concerns, anti-billionaire working class consciousness raising

Visualization exercises are SO POWERFUL. Honestly, many of the positive things I’ve achieved in my life are because of my ability to not only dream but visualize in a way that’s so vivid it’s like I’m already there. TIKTOK VID. This guy offers a great way to start visualizing your dreams into reality.
A super simple way to understand your PERSONAL STYLE so you don’t just SPEND MONEY WILLY NILLY! TIKTOK VID. It’s pretty simple. I’ve seen a lot of videos about how to find your personal style and find it to be rather confusing. This technique feels more concrete and doable.

NYMAG ARTICLE (shhh here’s a Free Reader Version) It is FASCINATING and a part of the latest “HABIBI City” issue of New York Magazine. It tackles the thorny issue of how dining out has become a “vote with your dollars” situation and how everyone is much more aware of which “Middle Eastern” and “Mediterranean” restaurants are Israeli or Palestinian (etc).
Absolutely LOVING this Instagram account by AARON FLARIN. INSTA VID. This video for instance is about how “No accountability in household fights leads to no accountability in political fights” aka THE WAY ASIAN PARENTS MIGHT NOT BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR MESSING UP. This GOOD EGG tour has been SO gratifying but also SO ALL-CONSUMING. So I’m already daydreaming of the time in October and November when I’ll be able to be home and COOKING AND NESTING AGAIN.
