FLOCK CAMERAS ARE A SCOUUUUUURRRRRGE. TIKTOK VID. The absolute violation of privacy and abuse of power being perpetrated on us by this camera company (in cahoots with local police and government authorities) is OUT OF CONTROL. Imagine a camera on EVERY corner of your neighborhood. They’re able to read and recognize you car and your face and your body from afar. This is 100 percent being used to abuse, stalk and falsely accuse people already (INSTA POST WITH EXAMPLES HERE). Here’s one whisteblower cop who lost his job by simply asking questions about the legitimacy of these cameras.
Are you watching The Odyssey or nah? New film by Christopher Nolan. TIKTOK VID. This video critiques a critical flaw of his films. Do you agree? TIKTOK VID. I have to say I usually enjoy his movies because they are such spectacles and EFFECTIVE filmmaking. But sometimes, it leaves me wanting and this video explains why. At least one of the reasons. It’s why I could never watch Oppenheimer. I don’t want to hear how the guy who invented the bombs that eventually harmed Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a NUANCED human being with COMPLICATED feelings. Another reason Nolan’s films sometimes leave me wanting is how the women in his movies are just not whole characters. Bummer. But ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED? Yes. Often times yes.
