Wasn’t planning on reaching out to y’all again so soon, but--
I can’t sit by and not at least try to do something, even something incredibly small and likely meaningless, to help support those who are fighting the rising forces of fascism here in the US.
Impulsively decided to release a demo of my song “Hard Way” that I made with my old pal Justin Vernon up at April Base back in the early days of 2020. I played keys and sang and he recorded it and played the various squeaks and bloops. HERE IT IS, on my Patreon. For those of you who subscribe, you’re set—I’ll be donating this month’s income to Twin Cities mutual aid funds. But I am also making this demo available as a one-time purchase to non-subscribers, and I will donate any funds raised there as well.
To my friends in Minnesota—you are an inspiration and I am so sad and angry that your beautiful state is under siege.

These people don’t care about the law, morality, or common decency. They care about money. Don’t give them any if you can help it.

I know it’s easy to feel hopeless, but I truly believe that we have more power than we think we do. Good people coming together in support of one another can change the world. We have to believe it for it to become true. It won’t stop until we make it stop.
