Prime Time Lies

Kudos to ABC, NBC, and CNN for not-airing Trumps fictional rant last night on their networks. They did however offer it live on their streamers.

Trump’s motto has ALWAYS been “if you repeat a lie enough times it becomes accepted”. Last night was no exception- 27 minutes of LIES.

Last night was not just about Trump’s speech. It’s about OUR SPEECH. This administration is trying to silence dissent in subtle and NOT SO SUBTLE WAYS. Journalist’s are being subpoenaed at their homes for the THEATRE AND FEAR of having a sheriff show up at your home to serve papers.

It’s hard to speak up, and it can be scary. But we must continue to speak up and defend our democracy. Don’t assume “someone else is going to step in and set the record straight” . We all have a job to do a job that was guaranteed to us in the FIRST AMENDMENT. FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

Hushed tones are dangerous . NOW IS THE TIME TO GRAB A MEGAPHONE AND BE LOUD.

I’ve missed everyone while I was away the last week, but I’m back and I can’t wait to see you again tomorrow.
