It’s been a very quick week for us so far, summer camps are under way and the heatwave is a very welcome added bonus. I am currently sitting outside and it’s 9pm, it’s that golden hour of the evening and all I can hear is birdsong, which is much more mellow at this hour of the night and the antidote I need after a busy day of rapid fire questions and demands.
We spent the evening at the beach and time ran away from us, which is the sign of time well spent. Dinner consisted of crackers, fruit and an obligatory 99 for the road home - the corner stone of nutrition!
JULY
Sunsets, cherries in season, lying in the grass and doing nothing but listening and watching - a lake, bare feet, sea swims, sandy limbs. This account is a lovely little corner of the internet. The absolute opposite to doom scrolling.
FEELING BLUE
Jessica, the creative force behind the much loved Deorling, is a reliable source of inspiration. Her latest project, a colourful children's bedroom, is a beautiful example of how to use colour and prints to add depth to a space.
RUN AWAY
This Airbnb cottage looks idyllic. Can we all just slam our laptops shut and run away to the country for some proper rest? Nothing to do but rest for however long it takes to feel like a human again.
