What? I perked up reading this on Threads. This was news to me. My library is four years old. It’s beautiful. One of the reasons why I was excited to move back to the Bay Area was to use this library. Today I went and checked it out. The air conditioning was on full blast. People were checking out books and handing in their Summer Reading Challenge paperwork. Others were sitting at the tables reading or working on their laptop. I was really bummed. I was expecting a caterpillar smoking opium, a showing of Behind the Green Door in the quiet room. But people were just using the library. Sheesh! Talk about false advertising.

Then I found out the clip was from two years ago. Why is it going viral now? Who knows. But they did bring up some examples of Libraries Gone Wild…
