The doll fashion contest submissions are closed, it’s almost time to vote, and now it’s time to level the hell up. Because this next competition? This one’s for the real ones. The ones who have fabric swatches on their desk and Pinterest boards named things like “Jem but make it wearable.” The ones who look at the Jem universe and think I could wear that.
Welcome to the Rock Fashion Runway Competition — JemCon 2026’s official Jem Universe-inspired fashion design competition and live runway show.
This isn’t about doll clothes. This is YOU. Real clothes. Real runway. Real spotlight.
Up to 10 finalists will have their designs walk the runway live at JemCon 2026 on Friday, September 11th at the DoubleTree Bayside in San Diego — in front of a packed room, original cast members, and a night that’s going to feel like “The Rock Fashion Book” episode came to life and got a whole lot more outrageous.
Here’s how it works: you submit your original, wearable, Jem Universe-inspired design. Not a costume — fashion darling, inspired by anything in the Jem universe: the characters, the bands, the fashion lines, the comics, the movie, the vibes, all of it. If it gets you selected as a finalist, you build it, bring it, and show it.
Submissions open today, March 4th and close April 15th. That gives you over five months to construct your look after finalists are announced in mid-April — which, honestly, is plenty of runway (pun absolutely intended).
