Yesterday, I did something I honestly wasn’t sure I’d ever do again.
I published a book.
It’s a short book called:
What’s Your Product Prevention Strategy?
And it’s the first in a new series I’m creating.
Last night, I sent a simple email about it to 30 people.
Then I went to bed.
This morning?
I woke up to my first sale. 😁
So apparently I went to sleep a published author...
and woke up a selling author.
That feels pretty darn good.
But here’s the part I’m even more excited about:
I didn’t sit down and write this book from scratch.
The book came from Thursday’s 30-minute LIVE show.
My ideas.
My teaching.
My stories.
My words.
We took what I’d already created and turned it into a short, useful book you can read — and act on — in about an hour.
And somewhere along the way, I realized we’d made an important distinction:
I’m not trying to WRITE a book every week.
I’m going to CREATE a book every week.
There’s a big difference.
“Write a book a week” sounds exhausting.
Blank page.
Hours at the keyboard.
“What the heck am I going to write about this week?” 😂
But creating a book from something I’m already teaching?
That’s an entirely different model.
The LIVE creates the raw material.
Then that same content can become a book.
Instead of constantly asking:
“What else can I create?”
I’m starting to ask:
“What else can I create FROM what I’ve already created?”
And THAT is what has me so excited.
Because this isn’t really about publishing one book.
It’s about building a system that can create a book every week from work I’m already doing.
Book #1 is the proof.
And if you’re a creator who’s been sitting on a product idea — or you’ve got years of content that could become one — Book #1 might be especially useful for you.
What’s Your Product Prevention Strategy?
You can read it and begin acting on it in about an hour.
And apparently...
people even buy it while I’m sleeping. 😂
