During a recent visit to the Museum of Australia, in Sydney, I was taken by this fossilized fern dated 245 million years ago. It looks so ordinary; I wouldn't've blinked if I had seen it growing outside the museum. Dicroidium zuberi , specimen from the Museum of Australia.
