Join Raleigh Parks for the reopening celebration of Caraleigh Park and the unveiling of In Tending, a new site-specific public artwork by Raleigh artist Jean Gray Mohs.

This newly rebuilt and fully accessible neighborhood park has been thoughtfully designed to welcome visitors of all ages and abilities. During the celebration, guests are invited to explore the park’s new amenities, enjoy free cold treats, participate in sensory-friendly activities, listen to music, and meet artist Jean Gray Mohs. Inspired by native plants, insects, and the surrounding ecology, In Tending incorporates designs based on our backyards and created by local children and reflects the importance of spaces where play, rest, caregiving, and community can thrive together.

Parking Information
Street parking is available near the park at 110 Maywood Avenue. Additional parking is available at Eliza Pool Park (1600 Fayetteville Street) and Mount Hope Cemetery (120 Prospect Avenue).

Please note that restroom facilities will not be available during the event.
