I don’t normally do this but my campaign is down to less than 24 hours, so here’s the pitch I should have done on day one, lol, I know I’m a little late :)

The Star Trimmer Tales is a series of 5 stories that told the story of Oswald and his friend Martin, a Kalsion in the Air Cav, who got sucked into a portal while chasing a strange craft over Manhattan. When on the other side of the portal they find themselves pressed into the service of a group of privateers that promise they will return them to their home dimension once it cycles back into position. Oswald and Martin begrudgingly agree, and are taken to the Star Trimmer, a Yggdrasil that was ripped from wherever it had taken root and then was tossed into the ether, a space between realities. While being pressed into service, Oswald takes note that several races comprise the crew, but the one that stands out to him are the Mar, a people that he once ruled when he was in Dream. That’s the basic story in the first volume in the Star Trimmer series and that’s what’s currently on Kickstarter, there’s also a thing about him spotting his wife in chains, Oswald fighting a demon god and freeing the Mar from a cult :D http://kck.st/3L2TQ2E

But here’s the thing, that story and all of the Star Trimmer stories started out as prose and with this campaign I’m offering up the final story in that series: Walking Towards the Dark. I’m also offering up the other 4 prose chap books in the series:

1. What My Eyes I Cannot Tell

2. A Country Knight in NYC

3. The Trial of Oswald

4. A Return to Dream: Remembrances and Regrets

Those five stories set up the next wave of Oswald tales and will for the first time all be released in a linier fashion, so no more jumping around in Oswald’s time line unless he’s telling the story of an earlier period in his life which he tends to do.

The final chap book: Walking Towards the Dark, also has a bonus story called: Admiring the Blackfoot, which tells the story of a black-foot ferret that seeks Oswald’s help, to help him find his only friend a pixie that’s been kidnapped by his creators. Blackfoot’s voice is not a gift of divine coincidence, but a matter of his genetics being altered. This story is special to me since it was a reward tier on my very first campaign 14 years ago. Now I did warn the person that backed that tier that it could take 2 to 3 years to complete the story and release it due to the way I work, but it took a bit longer than I thought, I did send him a number of other things (original art) that hopefully has made up for the wait, but man is it a wait, but it’s finally here.

And here’s some art from some upcoming Oswald stories so you can see what you’re helping bring to life if you choose to back: http://kck.st/3L2TQ2E

Thank you for spending this time with me.
