Columbia friends — I’ll be at All Good Books in Five Points tonight for a conversation and signing for Life of the Party.
I’m especially looking forward to this one because Dick Harpootlian will be joining me for the conversation. Dick has been a prosecutor, attorney, author, state senator, and chair of the South Carolina Democratic Party. He also has the rare ability to make a political conversation both serious and wildly entertaining.
So yes, this should be interesting.
We’ll talk about the book, South Carolina politics, the future of the Democratic Party, and what it’s going to take for Democrats to regain voters’ trust.
