Democrats need to do a better job listening to their own voters. That’s one of the central arguments I make in my new book, Life of the Party, and it’s why I’m asking you to take this survey.
The goal is to take the temperature of Democratic voters, Democratic-leaning independents, and readers of this Substack about where the party stands, what needs to change, and which reforms should come first.
This survey is completely anonymous. I’m asking for a few basic demographic details only so we can break down the results in a useful way — by age, gender, geography, and political identification. Individual answers will not be published or attributed to anyone.
This is not a scientific poll of all voters. It is a survey of this Substack audience. It won’t be the last. And I plan to publish the results in full in a future post.
