Have you ever stopped and asked yourself; How did I get here?

How did I get to this moment right now?

If you have a moment after reading this, jot down a few things you have done in your past. Take a look at some of the things that have brought you here. How have you arrived at this moment?

If you would like, share in the comments. We often are able to learn from each other through the sharing of stories.

Every past thing that you have done is imprinted into the things you are doing today. A constant theme in it all; is learning. In order to get here, you had to learn. In order to get to the next place; you have to learn.

  • Curiosity is at the root of learning

Consistent curiosity is one of the things that keeps us focused on the journey ahead. That idea has brought someone to this present point. Without curiosity the things tried along the way would not have occurred. Learnings would have been missed. Those learnings all contribute to the actions being done in the present.

What are some things you have learned that are part of what you are doing today?

What lessons are you using or combining to move you forward in the present thing you are learning?

The next place on the journey is even more rooted in curiosity. In order to move forward an initial step must be taken. That step is driven by being curious. What now needs to be learned that was not already or what needs to be learned more, are all questions that go along with trying new things.

When there is a focus on helping others, a natural curiosity takes the lead as the helper must learn the thing. Learning has to occur in order to be able to help.

You must stay curious about what others are curious about in order to take the step into learning that thing. It is the ultimate way to stay on a continuous learning path.

When is the last time you thought about being curious about what someone else was learning or doing or thinking?

Probably more than you think as through interactions, engaging, listening, and learning it is happening.

Have you thought about it yet for yourself?

What is the last new thing you tried? What is something you would like to try?

My hope is that by the end of this, you stay curious as to what comes next.

On your journey, on my journey, with these writings.
