Normally my “free” posts are calling readers to some sort of action, but this one shows both an ongoing success story and an inside look at my hectic life. July 14 — I was totally surprised during Arizona trip to visit my autistic son, Jon, who lives in Scottsdale, when he asked me to take him to a political rally in Apache Junction.
To my readers who know my family, they might also know how apolitical Jon is, so I was stunned when he asked to attend this rally and quickly agreed.
Truthfully, I think he did it for me, because I got a lot more out of the event than he and the abstract political speeches grew wearisome. But still, I appreciated his alerting me to this electrifying event.
