Today I’ve come loaded with a promise. A vow to refocus my commitment to making this a unique wing on my story-making shanty.

Unfortunately, that day is not today (insert sad trombone)…

As I am currently neck deep in SUPER EGO volume 1 shipping. So today— I hope you’ll suffer though an oh so necessary info dump.

More updates/information:

-A whopping 85% of you have filled out your surveys. If you have not as of yet, please do so! I can’t wait to get this book in your hands.

-I’ve sent out about 150 packages so far. Focusing mostly on Day 1 backers thus far.

-The exception being Day 1 backers with special art rewards or extra copies. I’m doing my best to get to your orders, but I also want to ensure your art arrives in the best possible condition.

The opportunity and news of the Image Comics softcover came about so organically that I really wasn’t prepared for it at all. And it is not lost on me that without your early support, this opportunity to reach a wider audience would never have been possible. But as I said in the video above, this Kickstarter hardcover is a much more prestigious, unique, and frankly rare package. Plus, the extras that come with it are unlikely to ever be available outside of this campaign. I’ve tried my best to make this version well worth your investment, and I do think you’ll be very happy you got in early.

For those of you interested in a second copy, that forthcoming trade is the best way to do it. Though it is a tad less black tie, it’s just as charming and even better proofread. Making it almost certain to use better table manners when requesting ketchup for its steak.
