How to Rewire Your Brain for More Confidence

Hello you 🤍

Today, I wanted to share a few words.

A few quick ones.

About looping affirmations.

About how we can wire our brain for absolutely any desired outcome, one aware looping affirmation at a time.

Looping affirmations are short, intentional statements that you repeat throughout the day to gently train your mind toward a desired way of thinking, feeling, or believing.

Rather than saying an affirmation once and forgetting about it, you return to the same words over and over again—almost like putting a favorite song on repeat.

The more often we think a thought, the more familiar it becomes. And the more familiar it becomes, the more naturally our brain begins to accept it.

Over time, looping affirmations can help replace unhelpful thought patterns with ones that feel more supportive, empowering, and aligned with the person we want to become.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s gentle repetition.

One loving thought, repeated consistently, can create meaningful change.

One thing we can do is ask ourselves, at any given moment: What do we need more of?

What is currently lacking, or something we would love to improve?

If the desire or want may be confidence, then let’s dive into that.

In my case, I could use a few kind words to myself.

Let’s wire our brain, one looping affirmation at a time.

  • I trust myself.

  • I believe in myself.

  • I am enough exactly as I am.

  • I am confident in who I am becoming.

  • I deserve to take up space.

  • My voice matters.

  • I trust my decisions.

  • I am capable of doing hard things.

  • I choose courage over fear.

  • Every step I take builds my confidence.

  • I don’t need to be perfect to begin.

  • I am worthy of every opportunity that comes my way.

  • I let go of self-doubt.

  • I show up as my authentic self.

  • I am proud of how far I’ve come.

  • I have everything I need within me.

  • I believe in my abilities.

  • I trust myself to figure things out.

  • I am becoming more confident every single day.

  • Confidence feels natural to me.

  • I am safe to be seen.

  • I am safe to be heard.

  • I carry myself with confidence and ease.

  • I am resilient, capable, and strong.

  • I choose to believe in myself today.

Now, how do we use the above?

Well. I have created a simple process.

I use looping affirmations differently.

In some seasons, I need them multiple times daily.

On my way to work, during the day, while I fall asleep.

Other times, I have seasons where I don’t do them.

I’m in that kind of season now because I feel truly good.

But once I start to feel something creep into my thoughts that doesn’t necessarily uplift me, I love knowing this as a tool I can reach for.

I would love to share a few ways of using looping affirmations on a daily basis as a way to offer yourself more love, kindness, and support.

You don’t have to repeat affirmations hundreds of times or set aside hours of your day.

Instead, weave them naturally into moments that already exist.

1. Choose one affirmation.
Pick a single affirmation that reflects what you need most right now. The simpler it is, the easier it is to remember and repeat.

2. Repeat it throughout your day.
Loop it while brushing your teeth, making coffee, walking, driving, exercising, folding laundry, or waiting in line. Let everyday moments become reminders.

3. Return to it when unhelpful thoughts appear.
When you notice self-doubt, fear, or criticism creeping in, gently interrupt the thought by repeating your affirmation instead.

4. Pair it with your routines.
Attach your affirmation to habits you already have—when you wake up, before meals, during your commute, or as you fall asleep. Existing routines make new habits easier to maintain.

5. Say it with intention.
You don’t have to force yourself to believe it immediately. Simply repeat the words with openness and curiosity, allowing them to become more familiar over time.

6. Be patient with yourself.
Looping affirmations aren’t about changing your life overnight. They’re about gently teaching your brain a new story—one loving thought at a time.

Remember: consistency matters far more than perfection.

One affirmation.

Repeated often.

Can become one new belief.
