I got caught, now I’m committed

one of those days where you feel very tired from the work but just as grateful for the work too.

I don’t think I’m the type that says “I can’t believe this happened” I live with  intention, deep discipline, and was birthed with the gift of faith and learned early on that things don’t move if you don’t.

Here I am sitting in my hotel in NYC preparing for my second ever live event that got fully sponsored by a brand that I’ve loved for so long. like what?? I am reflecting on how this year I promised I would stop putting off the things that God placed so heavily in my heart.

I am sitting in the reality that we can convince ourselves that we are not prepared enough for the very thing we were called on this earth for.

And yeah, it’s that deep.

I say all this to say. Just begin. Do the work. Do it messy. Do it without being the absolute best BUT with the undeniable conviction that you KNOW it’s for you— just for you.

I’m not afraid of looking a little silly and making mistakes. I’m afraid of a life where I’m so hard on myself that I don’t give myself permission to wobble, shake, trip, stumble. Is this you? Idk. But I just want to encourage you to go after the thing that’s been chasing you down. Don’t be afraid to get caught.
