The term “single”, when it comes to releasing music, has always seemed to have a bit of a commercial or pop connotation to it. I don’t really know if it applies to jazz, or what the term might be if “single” isn’t the right word.
Either way, I put together a little video of one of the songs from the new album with Peter Erskine and Nir Felder that comes out on July 27th, and you can check it out on the recently resurrected “clips” channel I have on YouTube.
