My game has a name (and a Steam page)

Hello! I’m dropping in quickly to say I’ve been working on a game, it’s called A Peaceful Place and you can wishlist it on Steam via james.sh/game!

After parking some previous ideas from last year, I recently set out to build a prototype to try properly creating my art style in 3D and I’m really happy with the results so I’m planning to release a small game based in this world — some images below of how it looks so far!

This is a separate project from the ideas I’ve written about here before but with some overlap, for anyone who’s been subscribed for a while. My main vision is to create a world that’s relaxing and enjoyable to spend time in alone or with friends and a big part of that will be what you actually do in this world other than walking around, which is something I’ll be figuring out along the way — but the core aim will be to satisfy the desire I have (and have heard from many others too) to build a world in my style to explore.

I’ve played video games for as long as I can remember and I think a big part of the worlds I create in my art are actually to scratch an itch I’ve long had to make 3D game worlds — I’m excited to see where this goes!
