I was walking through a department store the other day and did something ill advised, at least for me.
I walked into the shoe aisle.
And, like always, I came away disappointed.
They have slippers, and sneakers and slip on vegan shoes nowadays. And clogs. And crocs but they never what I need.
I have big feet. And when I say big feet I mean big feet. NBA player feet. The last time I checked, I wore a 16 extra wide. Or a 15 extra wide, depending on the brand.
So I looked at all those shoes and thought about one of those unavoidable facts of my life.
I am an observer in a world for people with little feet. It never gets easy. But there is some joy in it here or there. What about you? Are you an observer too?
The best conversations are two-way streets. I want to hear from you.
