Neal was sick to his stomach at what he saw in the mirror.

The heavy brow. The patches of fur. The blood on his lips, his cheeks, his chin, coagulated and crusty.

He’d promised himself that he could change.

And for years, he had.

Then that damn Larry came by to borrow his wheelbarrow after the asshole still hadn’t returned Neal’s shovel.

Neal could blame the moon or the curse.

But he’d be lying to himself.

The truth was, it felt good to rip Larry to shreds.

Neal might have to take another look at the rest of the neighbors…
