Hello dears ~ October greetings to you.
After this mailout, I am going to pause posting /sending out the newsletters, for a while. Rather than leave this hanging through the forthcoming Autumn~into~Winter, I'm Saying.
Currently (22 10 2024, as I write) my sense is: likely the pause will prevail till at least January, 2025
(first time I've tried writing that one. It still reminds me of a hippy song from my childhood, '...in the year 2525... if Man is still alive....' - it had that particular maudlin 60's/70's Thing that pervaded so many of the radio tunes.
Later revelations of all manner of unhappiness behind the scenes in that era confirmed my little radar was on the beam.
She knew some things, sometimes, that kid.)
Anyways. Returning to this moment, and looking forward - I'll simply pause till the pausing is done. So if it runs on into January, February - so be it.
And.
In previous posting incarnations, I recall that sometimes a Proper, Named, Pause can bring an “Oh I'd enjoy to make a post now" out of the contrary creative blue yonder - if/when that impulse appears, so will some fresh Truly Resonant-ness.
It's all bendy overhere, always.
(If you've subscribed, whatever I put out here will be sent directly to you, if you've enabled that.)
The main signal I am tuning to quiet now is the one that has some 'should' static distortion, and the impulse beckoning from a comfier future is the enjoyment of the reportage of the good flow of artistry, once again.
Ahh, feels good to land the words.
I often think-write into this for a while before the words and offering happen. I also think-write a bunch of things that get a 'Nahh'.
"Nahh, not going down that rabbit hole".
"Nah, not enough energy to do that".
Letting the spinning plates drop has become a well-honed skill, these recent years.

I recently hugely enjoyed the audio book ‘Meditations for Mortals’, by Oliver Burkeman, ~ a quote from which is in the most recent painting.
His basic theme of 'Life is finite, making choices towards enjoying todays is a wise aim. Relax.' is one I've long lived in harmony with, and aspired to bring into land, when I could manage that.
I enjoyed hearing his perky edited eloquence around it all, very much.
He's big on letting those spinning plates drop where they will, too.
The Mountains quote in the pic pertains to one of the short chapters which gave me a good solid nudge.
Re-orienting to Life's relentless stream of challenges as a given on Earth, rather than as a personal targeted attack, as it sometimes feels, is a deeply helpful shift.
It's in the same general folder as my all-time fave: "Given that this is so, how than shall we proceed?"
It's the bedrock Acceptance chestnut again, isn't it?
I'll listen to the audio book again - the daily-chapter form is great for giving a bit of 'I'm getting up now' energy, unlike so many of the laid-back, deeply peaceful, soothing voices that emanate from within my laptop collections.
Somehow, Mr B brings chirpy, without edgy, and enthusiastic without pushy - which is a pretty good embodiment of the message he brings, too.

I've not a lot of artistry to present here, to round up.
The rains and colder air have kept me in, away from The Lovely Garden.
I see Yellowings, Burgundies + FlameOranges through my bedroom window, love the increasing quiet in the atmosphere.
Two-thirds of the playroom got an October deep blitz - shedding heavy skins, lightening the load, keeping on keeping on, creating the environment to be as Truly Resonant as I can manage.
Letting go, and getting rid of Things always lifts my Spirits, and clears space for newness to come on through. I relish simplification more and more.
There'll always be creative chaos here, in my home, but it becomes increasingly streamlined altogether, as time flows on.
Dears, I wish you comfortable, restorative, nesting (in your own way) through your Autumn and Winter months, unless you're one of my upside-down pals, to whom I wish Sweet Spring and approaching Summer.
Thank you for joining me here if you do, I hope my offerings land sweetly with you.
I will return, as and when.
Meanwhile, may your Mountains, and the Mountains beyond those, be kind climbs amidst the Seasonal shiftings.
Until before very long, all being well enough.
With Love x x x J
