Clarissa Pinkola Estes’ audio book : ‘The Late Bloomer ~ Myths and Stories of the Wise Woman Archetype’ has been splendid settle-for-sleeptime nourishment, recently.
CPE, PHD, has been helping me find my ways since (yonder) days of tape cassettes.
I remember a stitching I worked on, in my London days,in my early thirties, as a direct response while listening to ‘The Creative Fire ~ Myths and Stories on the Cycles of Creativity’, playing out from my mighty BoomBox. (The one with two cassette player/recorders and a cd player. That era. Bulky, heavy, cool.)
Anyways, if you’ve not ‘met’ CP Estes’ work, or if you did, but not for a while - maybe her relentless Soulfulness will speak to you /again/, now.
She is still teaching courses at 80, I believe. A truly generous Elder.
There are more recordings from the original Dangerous Old Woman Series available, too, and a juicy bunch of her other wonder-full works.
(There is a recording of Women Who Run With The Wolves, but it’s only a short partial version of the written book. I’ve hunted, but this seems to be the only audio option for the mighty WWRWTW material.)

I’m grateful she did, and does, her work so very thoroughly, passionately, kindly.
Along with other astonishing teachers I crossed paths with in the late 80’s+90’s - she helped me find more truly resonant, comfortable + creative ways of being.
A mighty task, then, really.
I love how making these postings/sendouts brings me to good remembering + good links, both.
May you swim the Pisces 2025 DeepSea flows with some Ease + Grace.
