Felt like doing another live chat this week.
I am an avid hiker and trail runner, and Altra is a shoe company that I really like, although more for walking/hiking than running. That’s because of one of their two main concepts: 1) a wide toe box, which allows the toes to splay more naturally, which I love; and 2) a zero drop platform, which places the heel and forefoot at the same distance from the ground, which I don’t love for running.
I have a pair of their Olympus trail shoes and love them (this is not a paid post, btw, but if someone from Altra happens to catch wind and wants to hook me up, feel free). Here’s me wearing them, along with daddy’s precious angel Gatsby, being hounded once again by the Natureazzi, who are apparently now doing video, and scoring them ironically. Really annoying.
Fuck you, Natureazzi. LEAVE ME AND MY DOG ALONE.
In any case, back in December of 2018, I saw that Altra had a new Live Chat feature, and decided to engage. As you’ll see later in the story, this was before they had a much nicer looking chat interface. But that didn’t prevent me from having a pleasant conversation with Alexis G.
