Becoming HER · Becoming HER

Welcome. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Not the polished, curated version of you.
Not the woman holding it all together with color-coded calendars, twelve browser tabs, and another podcast about scaling her business before breakfast.

The real you.

The one who’s quietly exhausted from consuming so much information and still feeling disconnected from herself.

The one who knows she’s brilliant… but also knows something deeper is trying to get her attention beneath all the noise.

If you’re here, I have a feeling you know exactly what I mean.

And this space was created for you.

This is Becoming HER.

A weekly letter for the woman who is smart, ambitious, intuitive, a little overwhelmed, and trying to find her way back to herself.

Some weeks we’ll talk strategy.
Some weeks, nervous systems.
Some weeks identity, business, intuition, burnout, reinvention, and the strange magic of becoming someone new while still paying bills and answering emails.

And some weeks, I’ll simply tell you the truth about what I’m living through in real time.

Because I’ve started to realize something important:

Most ambitious women are trying to build a life using only half of themselves.

There’s the woman performing her life.
The one optimizing, producing, achieving, showing up, holding everything together.

And then there’s the quieter woman underneath her.

The one carrying the actual vision.
The real knowing.
The part that already understands what matters — but rarely gets to speak over the noise.

For a long time, I thought success belonged to the first woman.

The disciplined woman.
The strategic woman.
The woman with the plan.

Meanwhile, I was over here hosting a podcast called The Miracle Frequency, interviewing people whose lives had been changed by things they couldn’t logically explain.

The phone call that came at the exact right moment.

The diagnosis that rearranged everything.
The decision they almost didn’t make that altered the course of their life..
The stranger who said precisely what they needed to hear.
The moment life cracked open in a way no strategy deck or five-year plan could have predicted.

And what every conversation taught me was this:

The most life-changing moments rarely arrive through force.

They arrive when something inside us finally gets quiet enough to receive them.

I wish I could tell you I learned that gracefully.

I didn’t.

I learned it the way many women do — by doing everything “right” and wondering why nothing was working.

By filling every empty space with productivity.
By treating stillness like a problem to solve.
By consuming more information instead of listening to myself.

I thought clarity would come from finding the perfect strategy.

But clarity didn’t arrive when I added more noise.

It arrived when I finally stopped abandoning myself long enough to hear what had been waiting underneath it all.

And maybe that’s where you are too.

Maybe you’ve read every business book.
Taken every course.
Listened to every expert.

And maybe you’re starting to realize the issue was never a lack of information.

Maybe you just have too many tabs open.

Not just on your computer.
In your nervous system.
In your identity.
In your life.

I know that feeling intimately.

Before this version of my work existed, I wore more hats than I could count.

Registered nurse.
IBCLC.
Doula.
Childbirth educator.
Graphic and web designer.
Virtual assistant.
Coach.

I spent years helping other people bring their visions to life while quietly trying to figure out my own.

For a long time, I was offering everything to everyone and couldn’t understand why the right people weren’t finding me.

Eventually, I realized something simple but uncomfortable:

An abundance of offerings is not the same thing as clarity.

I was trying to be an entire food court instead of becoming known for one unforgettable thing.

I think a lot of women are doing the same thing with their lives.

We become who we think we need to be instead of becoming who we actually are.

So this space is my experiment in doing something differently.

Less performing.
More truth.
Less proving.
More resonance.
Less forcing.
More alignment.

Not in a “quit your life and move to Bali” kind of way.

In a grounded, human way.

The kind where you build success that your nervous system can actually hold.

A few things about me, in case you’re wondering who’s writing to you every week:

I lived on Maui for eight years, and it changed me in ways I still don’t fully have language for.

Purple is basically a personality trait at this point.

Bob Marley on a Sunday morning feels medicinal.

I’m deeply moved by the ocean, meaningful conversations, synchronicities, and women brave enough to be themselves.

The Sorting Hat put me in Hufflepuff. I was absolutely convinced I’d be a Gryffindor, in hindsight, painfully accurate.

And somewhere along the way, I became a woman who once interviewed about miracles and now helps other women recognize the one already living inside themselves.

My mess became my method.

Maybe yours will too.

This is your invitation to start Becoming HER. I’m really glad you’re here.

xo,
Kimberly
