There’s something really special about getting the whole family together for a trip, especially when you live away from your family AND it’s your baby girl’s very first big family vacation. 🥹
Last week, we packed up all of the baby gear (IYKYK), gathered the grandparents, siblings, cousins, and little ones, and hopped on flights to the Smoky Mountains before finishing the week in Asheville. We really had no idea what to expect traveling with two babies and a toddler this go around. While we tentatively put together an itinerary, we knew going in that we wouldn’t check off every attraction or stick to a perfectly planned schedule. This vacation was about slowing down, making memories, watching the kiddos experience somewhere new, and soaking up a week that I’m sure we’ll all be talking about for years.
If you’re planning a family vacation to Tennessee or Asheville, I wanted to share our full itinerary from the restaurants that were worth the stop to the activities that kept both the adults and kids happy.
