On August 7, 2026, I completed my goal of running 1000 miles in the Andes of South America in a nondescript spot on the Peru Great Divide

Run from Junin to Cruce Las Vegas, surpassing my goal of running 1000 miles in the Andes, and then catch a ride to Lima.

Run from Huallyay Tree Forest to Junín Lake.

Run from Cerro de Pasco to the Huallyay Tree Forest.

Run from Oyón towards Cerro de Pasco with a newly lightened pack and hitchhike the rest of the way to the city

Run from Cajamarca back up to the Peruvian Altiplano, and when night falls, hitchhike to Oyón

Run from Corpanqui to the Cañon de Rio Pativilca, the massive gorge that divides the Cordillera Blanca from the Huayhuash, along the Peru Great Divide backpacking route.

Run from Hatun Machay to Corpanqui along the Peru Great Divide

One last pause before the last stretch of running.

Run from close to Huayllapa to Llamac over the course of 39.07km and 1968m ascent, completing my bid for the unsupported Fastest Known Time.
