Dear readers,
You know when you click on a “Top 10 Brands” link and the list, um, doesn’t meet your expectations?
Well, this isn’t one of those lists!
Like my 42 Brands I Discovered After Moving To Paris piece from February, you won’t find the storied maisons or French high-street darlings you already know. Nor will I be sharing brands I’ve covered previously, including those in my What I’m Wearing posts, the laundry list in my ruffled collars piece and this article here, all of which are outside the paywall and well worth a revisit.
Lists like these are only valuable if you know your audience, and after three years, I think I have a pretty good sense of what interests you — and you, me.
So I’m back with 20 more brands, curated through conversations with buyers, designers, and stylish women I trust, alongside accidental showroom discoveries and generally keeping my ear to the ground around town.
Among them is perhaps the brand I’m most excited by: a family-run Italian footwear brand. At a time when stylish, quality footwear is commanding increasingly higher prices, it’s refreshing to find a brand delivering thoughtful design and craftsmanship for under €250.
