Umekita Park
Umekita Park is Osaka’s newest major green space and one of the most ambitious urban redevelopment projects in Japan. Located immediately north of JR Osaka Station, it forms the heart of the massive Grand Green Osaka development, which is transforming what was once a vast rail freight yard into a modern district of parks, offices, hotels, shops and residences.
Futsu no Shokudo Iwama
For cheap and cheerful homestyle Japanese cooking, Futsu no Shokudo Iwama in Namba is the place to go. It’s ultra-local and ridiculously good value for money.
