If you’re drawn to the inner dimensions of the climate and ecological crisis - the resilience, emotional depth, and community connection that sustainable action requires - you might, like us, be on the lookout for relevant events at London Climate Action Week.
With over 750 events taking place over nine days from 20th to 28th June, there are fortunately some pretty good filters on the LCAW website - just not one for inner resilience.
At the Inner Climate ResponseAlliance, we work with individuals and communities to build the inner (emotional and relational) resilience needed to face the climate crisis. We’re keen to connect with others doing similar work, so we’ve put together a list of events focused on inner work and community, including several we’re co-hosting with some brilliant partners.
Event organisers and hosts include Climate Youth Resilience, The Resilience Project, Six Seconds, Youth Climate Collaborative, Force of Nature, Clover Hogan and Climate Care Collaborative.
It’s not a definitive guide - new events are still being added to the official calendar, and we’d love your help filling any gaps. If you know of something that should be on this list, drop it in the comments.
And LCAW, if you’re reading this, an ‘inner resilience’ filter for 2027 would be very welcome!
That’s it for our round up, but as mentioned, we’re sure there are more inner resilience related events - if you know if any please add them in the comments.
Are you going to any of these events? Let us in the comments, we’d love to connect with as many of you as possible.
The Inner Climate Response Alliance is a partnership between the Mindfulness Initiative, the Climate Psychology Alliance and the Climate Majority Project, funded by the National Lottery Climate Action Fund. We’re not here to deliver practices ourselves, but to create space for people to work together - connecting inner work practitioners with grassroots and community climate efforts, supporting groups to experiment with practical approaches, and raising public awareness of why inner and relational resilience matter.
