There are moments that quietly shape us.
Not because they’re dramatic.
But because of the meaning we attach to them.
This is one of mine.
During the March Equinox this year, I wrote what I called an expiration list. A list of beliefs, fears, and patterns I no longer wanted to carry with me.
One thing surfaced almost immediately.
Hiding.
I am done hiding.
As I sat with that word, a memory resurfaced. Not because I had forgotten what happened, but because I had buried the story I’d built around it.
The story was this:
If I openly share my healing journey, my curiosities, my spirituality… people will reject me.
The timing of this feels very aligned as I slowly relaunch my personal brand.
It’s been four years since I launched my website, ingridmangiagalli.com. (The first time.)
Back then, I was so excited.
I remember texting one of my closest friends to tell her about my new website and direction.
A few weeks later, she sent me a message I never expected.
She gently warned me about the world I was exploring for healing and growth, particularly around chakras and energy work.
She said it without judgment.
But it still landed as rejection.
This was someone who had known me since high school.
Someone I loved deeply.
And in that moment, I felt like she no longer knew me.
The truth is...
I had changed.
Quite a bit.
Looking back now, I can also see that perhaps, with more context, she might have understood.
But fear doesn’t wait for context.
It creates stories.
That moment wasn’t the only reason I quietly closed my offers a year later.
But it rooted itself deeply in my heart.
I became afraid to openly share the parts of myself that were healing.
Learning.
Exploring.
Becoming.
When your deepest desire is love and connection, while simultaneously fearing rejection, showing up feels incredibly scary.
Sharing honestly feels incredibly vulnerable.
And yet...
Here I am.
One step at a time.
Building my brand on my terms.
Not from comparison.
Not from lack.
Not from fear.
But from intention.
I no longer want to hide who I am.
Or what I love.
Or what I’m curious about.
Everything I’ve come across on my healing journey has supported me more than words can express.
Not because I believe everyone should walk the same path.
But because these tools & modalities have gently helped me find my way back to myself.
Those are the stories I want to share.
Softly.
Honestly.
Curiously.
♡♡♡
Perhaps you’ve been carrying a story too.
One conversation.
One misunderstanding.
One moment that quietly became a belief about who you could or couldn’t be.
Healing isn’t about changing what happened.
It’s gently questioning the story you’ve carried ever since.
Today, I’m choosing a different one.
One day at a time.
