It’s time for another edition of the Friday Five.

This week we’re talking Quinn Hughes, trade targets, PTO candidates, and a whole lot of potential player movement.

Let’s get right to the questions.

Q: 1 to 10: Where are you on the "Quinn is a Devil" meter?

I am a 4.5, meaning I still think it’s a little more likely than not he stays in Minnesota.

All the speculation from insiders — and not just those in Minnesota — is that Quinn Hughes intends to extend with the Wild, and I think we have to put some stock in that.

They’re not saying it for the fun of it. They have at least some level of intel leaning them that direction.

Having said that, I am more optimistic he’ll be joining the Devils than I was a few months ago.

The Wild were booted from the playoffs in rather ugly fashion, signaling they still have a ways to go; and they don’t really have the resources to add meaningful pieces.

I have no doubt Hughes would like to play with his brothers during his career, and the fastest and cleanest path to doing so is joining them in New Jersey.

He can play with Jack and Luke in a year if he signs with the Devils, whereas he’d have to wait four seasons to play with Jack, and even longer for Luke to join.

If the season begins and Quinn hasn’t re-signed, I’d be a solid 8 and climbing.

Q: What players are your top fits for a potential trade acquisition at each position? Keep it semi-realistic with players that at least could be available and attainable given our current assets and cap
