This week I’m hosting my second garden tour to benefit the Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center in East Hampton. It’s the only non-profit childcare center in my area of the East End that provides affordable early education, and I’m so happy to be supporting them again this summer!
Since I’m hosting the tour, I asked my friend Miguel Flores-Vianna to come over and take some photos of the garden. What do you think??
Ask Ina:
“I always want to make the most out of summer ingredients. What are a few essential summer recipes that you can’t live without?”
I always want to do that too! The key to delicious simple food is to use the best ingredients. I can’t say this enough, so I wrote about it again in my new cookbook, Simply Ina, coming out this fall!
Cooking with really good fresh produce is never easier than in the summer. The tomatoes in my garden actually taste like tomatoes, and stone fruits at the market are actually ripe! Here are six simple summer recipes that I love, but it’s really about what’s in season where you live:
And, as a bonus, here are six fun summer desserts!
This Week’s Favorites:
I had the best day celebrating Jennifer Garner’s Once Upon a Farm in East Hampton last week! You can see some photos Jenn took here.
If you’re ever tired or feeling bad about the state of the world, just read Nora Ephron’s iconic and hilarious book I Feel Bad About My Neck.
I’ve added another stop on my Simply Ina book tour! You can join me in Greenville, South Carolina on April 7, 2027. Ticket information is available here or through the events page on my website. I can’t wait to see you!
