One Year of UX + AI! 🎉

One year ago, on June 3, 2025, I hit publish on a post called "Design with AI: From idea to prototype with AI." Then I closed my laptop and went on with my day.

I had no plan.
I didn't really know what Substack was about.

And very important, I wouldn’t have written that post if it wasn't for Karo (Product with Attitude), to which I am forever grateful. Thank you, Karo! ❤️

What I did know was that AI was changing the design and product world. My work, and the work of almost everyone around me, and I wanted to talk it through with the people living the same shift.

These are the questions I started with:

What does designing for AI solutions mean?
If anyone can use AI to design and build, what's left for us, designers and devs? What stays human when machines start to take over?
And who, honestly, would want to read what I have to say?

And this is how UX + AI was born.
I am not a writer or an influencer.
I had no content calendar.
And I had no idea how I will find the time to do it while raising a toddler and running a studio.

A year in, here's where we are together:

I have no words, really.
