Turning the Power Button ON

Dear Senator Schumer and Congressman Jeffries,

We have a vacuum of leadership at the top. The President’s hamstrung by a variety of physical limitations, unpopular policies and personal issues.

When Stephen Miller, took the stage at the Charlie Kirk Memorial. He stepped into the void left by Trump’s decline, and as Horrible as his speech was, Miller made his audience feel powerful, because they wanted to believe what he said.

It’s possible that Americans are attracted to strength, not weakness.

So…Where are the Democrats? Because we can give Americans back their Power.

Thank you for the joint statement today, it’s a good step, Trump knows where to find you, but has no interest in governing the country, and doesn’t care if it shuts down. He’s in it for the money. You no longer have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

And you are absolutely correct that this looming shutdown is the fault of the MAGA/GOP, who are ripping healthcare from millions of Americans to give Millionaires tax breaks. A shutdown we can’t fix because we didn’t break it, but we sure as hell have to address. Here’s opportunity.

It’s imperative that both of you increase your visibility in coming days, Trump cancelling the meeting means you can still have it in front of the American people, and on camera.

We, the American people need to know exactly what is happening. Keep Telling us how irresponsible lack of negotiations to keep the government open is. Talk to us about the obstruction from the right to pass a budget for the people. Talk about Mike Johnson fleeing Washington as the cost of healthcare skyrockets. Make it crystal clear that money appropriated by Congress is being blocked by this administration. Nothing else is going on, and this is how you fight back. Have Daily News Briefs.

Bring your colleagues and show our unity. Feature the strong bench which the Dems have, and express outrage that the entire GOP/MAGA has fled while rural hospitals are shutting down and tariffs are harming farmers.

You can offer Democrats, Liberals, Independants and Progressives power by uniting over important issues, such as HealthCare, Gun Safety, Voting Rights, Wealth Tax, Green Jobs, Protection of Public Lands, Infrastructure, Support for Unions, Reproductive Freedom and Raising the Minimum Wage.

This isn’t all inclusive, but it speaks to issues where the majority of Americans agree.

And as Leaders of our Party > point out what seems obvious, but still must be said:

“When everyone Votes Blue, we can have the country we want. You as voters have the Power to Elect Democrats so we can create a better life for the American people, we can do that together.”

Then paint the picture of what you WILL do, as we begin to claw back from these dangerous and unprecedented days. Where we see the dismantling of our Government and Norms as they come from within this Administration.

MAGA/GOP has brought so much chaos and insecurity; from January 6th to cutting food, Medicaid, housing assistance, threatening Social Security, disappearing people off the streets of America, unheard of abuse by the Executive Branch, exposing our personal data, being but amongst a long and tragic list that grows daily.

Trump does not want to keep the Government open for a multitude of reasons such as; avoid consequences, steal greater authority and/or eliminate the possibility of the Epstein Files being released being but a few.

As the leaders of the Dems, you need to be highly visible in the coming week about what is going on and what you can offer to help guide and comfort Americans in every State of the Union. We are asking for leadership on every platform now. You WILL be heard.

Because as the ONLY show in town you can and should take advantage of the focus. Make some noise and show America you are fighting tooth and nail for Democracy, the Constitution and this Country.
