SBI will allow four free branch cash withdrawals monthly from basic savings accounts. Additional withdrawals will cost Rs 15 per transaction plus GST from October 1.

India's foreign exchange reserves surged by $14.136 billion during the week ended August 7, crossing the $707 billion mark, according to RBI data. The increase was mainly driven by a $9.946 billion rise in foreign currency assets to $574.625 billion and a $3.995 billion increase in gold reserves to $108.738 billion
The SGB, issued on August 14, 2019, can be redeemed prematurely from August 14, 2026, after completing seven years. The redemption price represents an absolute gain of Rs 11,861 per unit, or around 343.9 per cent, excluding the interest earned during the holding period.
