I was in the grocery store about to checkout with coconut water and a few sweet potatoes when I made eye contact with the man standing at a sample station.
If I’m being completely honest, I avoided eye contact until he said “I’m the owner,” because I too am an entrepreneur. It takes initiative to make something and it takes bravery to stand behind it. This is true for a business, for art, for anything.
That is how I met the wonder of Goody’s Granola, which is actually very good. I took my granola sample “like a shot” as he suggested, the vanilla blueberry flavor. If you order a bag tell him hailo sent you :)
