I've been looking into RBS (type checking in Ruby) and am quite disappointed that they decided to separate signatures into external files, reminiscent of header files. Sounds like a maintenance nightmare. Maybe someone will create a tool to extract signatures from comments and create signature files. Python did a better job here.
