Our purpose is to reduce AI risk, prioritizing catastrophic and existential risks. We believe that the rate of R&D progress is driven by research events. Our mission is to realize the event goals of the community and to organize our own events. We additionally aim to provide event-related partnership, resources, and tooling.

We envision a world with global AI risk management that matches the difficulty of the AI safety problems. We believe long-term global safety is deeply challenging and requires magnitudes more care, insight, resources, and rate of progress. Avoiding global collapse is one important condition to the flourishing of life and civilization.
